Dress Code
In the Catholic school tradition, students at St. Matthew are expected to be neatly dressed and well-groomed in the accepted uniform each day.
St. Matthew Catholic School Students arriving at school out of uniform will receive a written notice sent home to parents for their signature, to be returned the following day. Repeated dress code violations may result in the need for an extra set of uniform clothing to be kept at school for the student. Additional disciplinary action may be taken at the discretion of the principal or assistant principal.
Uniforms may be purchased from Flynn & O'Hara School Uniforms. Contact their local store by calling 704-525-0002 or visiting them at 1730 Abbey Place in the Montford Abbey Shopping Center. Orders may also be placed using the order form available in the office, online at www.flynnohara.com, or by calling 1-800-441-4122. Some uniform items are available at other local retailers. Please remember that all items purchased must meet the guidelines listed on FACTS.
On the two days that your child attends physical education classes, they will wear their PE uniform to school for the whole day. The PE uniforms are available for purchase from Flynn & O'Hara.
